Useful Information

PE

  • P.E. is on a Monday.  Whenever possible it will take place outside so please ensure that P.E. kits are suitable for the weather that's forecast.
  • Children must wear trainers. 
  • Earrings should not be worn for school anyway but any child who has recently had their ears pierced will need to cover earrings with plasters.  Please either put the plasters on before your child comes to school or provide a pack of plasters that can be kept in school so your child can cover their earrings before a  P.E lesson.  

 

Home READING & HOMEWORK

  • Home reading books to be returned each Thursday even if your child has not finished reading the book. This will enable us to talk to your child about what they are reading, and change the book if necessary. Books will come back home on a Friday
  • Homework will come home on Friday. It should be returned no later than the following Friday.

 

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Children will be enjoying Spanish, singing and ukulele lessons on a Friday morning.   

  • Please ensure that you put your child's name on all jumpers, cardigans and coats.

  • At some point in the year,  we will  enjoy a weekly forest school lesson over a period of 6 weeks.  Children will need waterproof footwear such as wellies or boots whatever the weather for this activity.
  • The bringing in of toys is discouraged.
